It is also pertinent to mention that this is just the first step from Eighteen, as some bigger announcements, in form of signing with football clubs and 5-aside tournament is expected in near future.Team Eighteen as debutants, announced their arrival in an auspicious style at the ninth season of PGF Series 2018 – Pakistan’s biggest futsal tournament, where teams from all over the country go head to head in an attempt to win this prestigious league title under strict code of conduct.Furthermore, after being placed in the group alongside Chitral United, Manchester FC and Kazimabad United, registered a promising start against Chitral United as the match ended in a draw after some high level of brilliance shown by the players of both teams.Later, Eighteen up their game by comprehensively winning the next threegames in style and qualified for the grand finale of the PGF series after beating the last year champions, Falcon FC, with a score line of 2-0 in the semifinal.Team Eighteen along with 111 other teams participating in PGF Series IX, are classified into two major categories; Under-16 category which comprises 48 teams, and senior category which has 64 teams contesting for the grand title.The previous eight seasons of PGF series have been a success, and have succeeded to provide a fantastic platform for the young emerging players to showcase their talent and skills, while also managing to sustain the pressure in some hard-fought competitive matches throughout the season.
